West Vancouver, British Columbia – February 12, 2008 – Venturex Explorations Inc. (the “Company” or “Venturex Explorations”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sead Hamzagic, CGA, as the Chief Financial Officer and a director of the Company. Mr. Hamzagic will be replacing John Morita as CFO. Mr. Morita will be pursuing other business interests, however, has agreed to continue as a director and member of the Company’s audit committee. Venturex Explorations wishes to thank Mr. Morita for his contributions during his tenure as CFO.
Mr. Hamzagic has over 10 years of public accounting practice experience and 13 years of experience in financial management matters. Mr. Hamzagic has held a number of senior management positions in a variety of businesses and industries. Most recently Mr. Hamzagic was the Vice President of Finance for a large group of privately held companies that were involved in property development and management. Mr. Hamzagic is a member in good standing with the Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia.
